So, what is jalapeno pépper?
Jalapeno peppers are a type of chili pepper that originated in Mexico and are now popular worldwide due to their spicy heat and distinct flavor. These peppers are small to medium in size, with a slightly curved shape and a smooth, shiny skin. They are often used in Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine to add a spicy kick to dishes like salsa, guacamole, and nachos. Jalapenos are also frequently pickled and used as a garnish or topping for sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs. Despite their heat, jalapeno peppers are surprisingly nutritious and contain vitamins C, B6, and K, as well as fiber and antioxidants.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
