So, what is karbondioksid?
Karbondioksid, also known as carbon dioxide, is a colorless, odorless gas that is a vital component in the natural processes that sustain life on earth. It is produced by animals during respiration and by the burning of fossil fuels. In the food industry, karbondioksid is used as a leavening agent in baking and carbonation agent in beverages. It is also used to preserve the freshness of packaged foods. While karbondioksid is generally considered safe for consumption in small quantities, excessive exposure can cause health problems such as headaches and shortness of breath.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
