So, what is kyselina citronová?
Kyselina citronová, also known as citric acid, is a natural organic acid found in citrus fruits. It has a sharp, tangy taste and is commonly used as a food additive to impart a sour flavor or act as a preservative. This versatile ingredient can be found in soft drinks, candies, jams, and many other food products. Citric acid is also used in cleaning products and as a pH adjuster in skincare formulations. Its acidic nature makes it an effective chelating agent, meaning it can bind to metal ions and prevent them from reacting with other compounds.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
