So, what is lactosérum partiellement déminéralisé?
Lactosérum partiellement déminéralisé, also known as partially demineralized whey, is a byproduct of cheese making that has been processed to remove some of the minerals, such as calcium and phosphorus. This process helps to increase the protein content of the whey, making it a popular ingredient in food products such as infant formula, protein bars, and sports drinks. Partially demineralized whey is rich in essential amino acids, which are important for muscle growth and repair, and is also a good source of lactose, a type of sugar that provides energy to the body.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
