So, what is lactosuero?
Lactosuero, also known as whey or milk serum, is a by-product of cheese production. It's a watery, translucent liquid that contains lactose, protein, and minerals such as calcium and potassium. Lactosuero is commonly used in food manufacturing as an ingredient in sports supplements, infant formula, and baked goods. It has a slightly sweet taste and is often used to enhance the flavor and texture of foods. Due to its high protein content, lactosuero has become increasingly popular among health-conscious consumers as a dietary supplement for muscle building and weight loss.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
