So, what is laitécrémé?
"Laitécrémé" is a French term that translates to "low-fat milk" in English. This dairy ingredient is made by removing some of the fat content from whole milk, creating a product that is lower in calories and fat than regular milk. Laitécrémé still retains most of the nutrients found in whole milk, including calcium, vitamin D, and protein. It is commonly used as an alternative to whole milk in cooking and baking, as well as a healthier option for those looking to limit their fat intake. Its creamy texture and slightly sweet flavor make it a versatile ingredient in many dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
