So, what is лактаза?
Lactase is an enzyme naturally produced in the small intestine of humans and other mammals. It plays a crucial role in the digestion of lactose, a type of sugar found in milk and other dairy products. Lactase breaks down lactose into two simpler sugars, glucose and galactose, which can be easily absorbed by the body. However, some people are lactose intolerant, meaning they don't produce enough lactase to digest lactose properly. In such cases, lactase supplements can be used to help break down lactose and alleviate symptoms like bloating, gas, and diarrhea. Lactase is also used in the food industry to produce lactose-free dairy products.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
