So, what is lardons fumé?
Lardons fumé are small, savory bits of bacon that have been smoked to enhance their flavor. Typically used in French cuisine, lardons fumé are a staple ingredient in dishes such as quiches, salads, and stews, adding a deliciously salty and smoky taste to any dish. Made from the fatty part of pork belly, lardons fumé are typically cut into small, rectangular strips and then cooked until crispy. The resulting bacon bits are full of rich, meaty flavor, and can be used to add a touch of indulgence to a variety of recipes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
