So, what is muscovado zucker?
Muscovado Zucker, also known as Barbados sugar, is a type of unrefined cane sugar with a deep, rich flavor and a moist, sticky texture. Unlike regular white sugar, which is stripped of its molasses content during the refining process, muscovado sugar retains its natural molasses, giving it a distinct aroma and flavor. This dark brown sugar is commonly used in baking, particularly for rich and dense desserts like gingerbread, fruit cakes, and chocolate cakes. It can also be used as a sweetener for coffee, tea, and other hot beverages, adding a unique depth of flavor to your favorite drinks.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
