So, what is nicotinamid?
Nicotinamide, also known as niacinamide or vitamin B3, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in energy metabolism and cellular function. It is an essential component of the coenzymes NAD and NADP, which are involved in numerous biochemical reactions in the body. Nicotinamide is commonly found in a variety of foods, including meat, fish, poultry, and legumes, and is also available as a dietary supplement. It has been shown to have a variety of health benefits, including improving skin health, reducing inflammation, and supporting cardiovascular health. However, high doses of nicotinamide may cause side effects, such as flushing and gastrointestinal disturbances.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
