So, what is nitrógeno?
Nitrógeno, or nitrogen in English, is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that makes up about 78% of Earth's atmosphere. It is an essential component of amino acids, nucleic acids, and other organic compounds, making it a crucial element for all living organisms. In the food industry, liquid nitrogen is commonly used as a freezing agent to quickly freeze food products, resulting in smaller ice crystals and preserving the quality of the food. Additionally, nitrogen gas is used to create a creamy texture in some desserts, such as ice cream and mousse, by whipping it into the mixture.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
