So, what is œufs en plein air?
"Œufs en plein air" is a French term that translates to "eggs from free-range chickens." These eggs come from hens that are allowed to roam freely outdoors, foraging for their own food and enjoying plenty of sunshine and fresh air. As a result, they tend to have a richer flavor and more vibrant yolks compared to eggs from caged hens. Free-range eggs are also considered to be more ethical and sustainable, as the hens are given the opportunity to live in a natural environment and exhibit their natural behaviors. Incorporating "œufs en plein air" into your cooking not only adds delicious flavor but also supports animal welfare and environmentally friendly farming practices.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
