So, what is pau d'arco?
Pau d'arco, also known as Taheebo or Lapacho, is a tree bark that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. It contains various active compounds with potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, such as lapachol, quercetin, and beta-lapachone. Pau d'arco is commonly used to support immune function, improve digestion, and alleviate symptoms of infections and inflammation. Additionally, it may have anticancer effects and aid in the management of diabetes. Pau d'arco is often prepared as a tea or supplement and can be found in health food stores and online retailers.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
