So, what is picodon?
Picodon is a small, creamy and tangy French cheese made from goat's milk. Its name is derived from the French words "pico" meaning small and "don" referring to its region of origin in the Rhone-Alpes. Picodon has a thin rind that can vary in color from white to grayish-blue, while the interior is firm and dense. This cheese has a distinctive aroma with a sharp and slightly acidic taste that intensifies as it ages. It pairs well with light-bodied red wines, dried fruits, and nuts, making it a popular choice for cheeseboards and appetizers.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
