So, what is pinot meunier?
Pinot Meunier is a red wine grape variety that is commonly grown in the Champagne region of France, although it can also be found in other wine-producing areas of the world. It is known for its ability to add depth and complexity to sparkling wines, as well as its rich, fruity flavor profile. Pinot Meunier grapes are typically dark blue in color and have a thick skin, which contributes to their tannic structure. The name "meunier" means "miller" in French, which is a reference to the floury appearance of the underside of the grape leaves. Pinot Meunier is often used in Champagne blends to balance out the flavors of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and it also makes an excellent standalone wine.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
