So, what is potassium sulphate?
Potassium sulphate is a white crystalline salt that is commonly used as a fertilizer for crops. It is also known as sulphate of potash and has the chemical formula K2SO4. This inorganic compound is a source of potassium, an essential nutrient for plant growth, and sulphur, which aids in the development of protein and enzymes in plants. Potassium sulphate has a low salt index, making it ideal for soil with low salinity levels. It is also used in the manufacture of glass, alum, and potassium alum.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
