So, what is probiotic culture?
A probiotic culture is a living mixture of beneficial microorganisms, such as bacteria and yeasts, that are commonly added to certain foods and supplements. These microorganisms work to support a healthy balance of gut bacteria, which can have a positive impact on digestion, immunity, and overall well-being. Probiotic cultures are typically added to fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, and kimchi, but can also be taken in the form of capsules or powders. By promoting the growth of "good" bacteria and reducing the population of harmful microbes in the gut, probiotic cultures offer a natural way to support digestive health and may even play a role in preventing certain illnesses.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
