So, what is riboflavine?
Riboflavin, also known as vitamin B2, is an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in the body's metabolism. This water-soluble vitamin is necessary for converting carbohydrates into energy and for the production of red blood cells. Riboflavin is also important for maintaining healthy skin, eyes, and nerves. It is found naturally in foods such as milk, eggs, meat, and green vegetables. Riboflavin is often added to processed foods as a supplement, and is commonly used in the food industry as a food coloring agent due to its bright yellow color.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
