So, what is rouge allura ac?
Rouge Allura AC, also known as Red 40, is a synthetic food dye commonly used to add a vibrant red hue to food and beverage products. This water-soluble dye is derived from petroleum and is a popular ingredient in the food industry due to its stability and low cost. Despite being approved by regulatory bodies, some studies suggest that Rouge Allura AC may cause adverse effects in certain individuals, including hyperactivity in children and allergic reactions in some individuals. As a result, some food manufacturers have begun to remove this ingredient from their products and opt for natural alternatives instead.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
