Is round-headed rampion vegan?

Round-headed rampion, also known as Phyteuma orbiculare, is a unique and flavorful herb that adds depth to any dish. This biennial plant has round blue-violet flowers and grows up to 60cm tall. The leaves are lance-shaped and serrated, while the stems are hairy and can be used to make tea. Round-headed rampion is commonly used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory properties and as a natural remedy for respiratory ailments. As a culinary ingredient, it has a slightly bitter taste reminiscent of chicory and makes an excellent addition to salads, soups, and stews.
