So, what is sirop de glucosefructose?
Sirop de glucosefructose, also known as glucose-fructose syrup, is a sweetener commonly used in the food industry. It is made from corn syrup, which is treated with enzymes to convert some of the glucose into fructose, resulting in a syrup with a higher fructose content than traditional corn syrup. This syrup is often used in processed foods such as soft drinks, candy, and baked goods, as it is cheaper and easier to use than granulated sugar. However, it has been criticized for its potential negative impact on health, including links to obesity and type 2 diabetes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
