So, what is twaróg?
Twaróg is a traditional Polish dairy product that resembles cottage cheese in texture and taste. Made from cow's milk, twaróg has a tangy yet creamy flavor with a slightly grainy texture. This versatile ingredient can be used in both sweet and savory dishes, from pierogis to cheesecake. It is high in protein and calcium, making it a nutritious addition to any meal. Twaróg is commonly found in Poland and other Eastern European countries, but is increasingly becoming popular in other regions of the world as well.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
