So, what is vinaigres de table?
Vinaigres de table, or table vinegars, are versatile condiments used to add tanginess to a variety of dishes. Made by fermenting various types of alcohol, such as wine, cider, or rice wine, with acetic acid bacteria, these vinegars are commonly used in cooking, as a salad dressing, or as a condiment for seafood, meats, and vegetables. With their complex flavors and acidic bite, vinaigres de table can enhance the taste and texture of any dish, and can be found in a range of varieties, from sweet to tart, and light to dark, to suit any palate.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
