So, what is vitaminc?
Vitaminc, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in many bodily functions. It acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from damage caused by free radicals, and also helps with the production of collagen, a protein that is essential for healthy skin, bones, and cartilage. Additionally, vitaminc helps the body absorb iron and supports the immune system by stimulating the production of white blood cells. While many fruits and vegetables contain vitaminc, it is also available in supplement form for those who may have a deficiency or require additional intake.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
