So, what is yoghurtcultuur?
Yoghurtcultuur, also known as yogurt culture, is a combination of lactic acid bacteria that are used to ferment milk and create yogurt. This culture contains strains of bacteria such as Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, which work together to convert lactose into lactic acid. Yoghurtcultuur gives yogurt its characteristic tangy flavor and creamy texture, as well as its health benefits, such as aiding digestion and promoting a healthy gut microbiome. Adding yoghurtcultuur to milk and allowing it to ferment is a simple and delicious way to create homemade yogurt that is rich in probiotics and nutrients.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
