So, what is aceites vegetales no hidrogenados?
Aceites vegetales no hidrogenados, or non-hydrogenated vegetable oils, are a type of oil derived from plants such as soybeans, sunflowers, and olives. These oils are free from hydrogenation, a chemical process that adds hydrogen to liquid oils, which can create trans fats and negatively impact health. Non-hydrogenated vegetable oils are considered a healthier alternative to hydrogenated oils because they contain less saturated and trans fats. They are commonly used in cooking and baking to add flavor and texture to dishes while providing essential fatty acids and other beneficial nutrients.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
