So, what is aprikos?
Apricots, also known by their scientific name Prunus armeniaca, are small, juicy, and flavorful fruits that belong to the Rosaceae family. They are closely related to peaches, plums, and cherries, and are widely cultivated in many parts of the world. Apricots are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamins A and C, and potassium. They have a soft, velvety skin that ranges in color from pale yellow to orange and a sweet flesh that can vary in texture from firm to juicy. Apricots are commonly used in jams, jellies, baked goods, and savory dishes such as stews and curries.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
