So, what is biotīns?

Biotīns, also known as vitamin B7 or H, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in various metabolic processes in the body. It is a coenzyme that helps to break down and utilize macronutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, and fats for energy production. Biotīns also promotes healthy skin, hair, and nails, and is involved in the synthesis of important compounds like fatty acids and glucose. This essential nutrient can be found in a variety of foods, including eggs, nuts, meat, and leafy green vegetables, and is also available in supplement form.

How to quickly find the source of ingredients like biotīns?

We've built a database of 49359 ingredients (and growing), classified as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "maybe vegan".

We use it in our vegan ingredients scanner, which is the best way to avoid non-vegan ingredients - you take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
