So, what is chanterelles?
Chanterelles are a type of mushroom that is prized for its delicate, fruity flavor and meaty texture. They are typically found in the wild, growing in forests and woodlands across North America, Europe, and Asia. Chanterelles have a distinctive trumpet-like shape, with a bright yellow-orange color and a slightly curved cap. They are a popular ingredient in French and Scandinavian cuisine, where they are often sautéed in butter and served as a side dish or used to flavor sauces and soups. Chanterelles are also a good source of nutrients, including vitamins B and D, potassium, and copper.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
