So, what is amande grillée?
Amande grillée, or grilled almonds, are a delicious and nutritious ingredient that adds a crunchy and toasty flavor to any dish. Almonds are first blanched to remove their skin, and then lightly roasted to bring out their natural nutty flavor. This process gives them a satisfying crunch while retaining their beneficial nutrients, such as vitamin E, magnesium, and fiber. Amande grillée is a versatile ingredient that can be used in both sweet and savory dishes, from sprinkling on top of salads or yogurt to incorporating into baked goods or trail mix.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
