So, what is cultivos láctícos?
Cultivos lácticos, also known as dairy cultures, refer to microorganisms that are used to ferment milk and other dairy products to produce a wide range of delicious and nutritious foods. These cultures typically include lactic acid bacteria, which convert lactose in the milk into lactic acid, giving the products a tangy flavor and thick texture. Cultivos lácticos are commonly used in the production of yogurt, cheese, sour cream, and buttermilk, among other dairy products. They play a crucial role in enhancing the flavor, texture, and nutritional value of dairy products while also helping to preserve them.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
