So, what is d'acides gras?
D'acides gras, which translates to "of fatty acids" in English, refers to a group of essential nutrients found in a variety of foods. These molecules are composed of long chains of carbon atoms that are necessary for the proper functioning of the body. While some fatty acids can be produced by the body, others must be obtained from the diet. D'acides gras include both saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, with the latter being particularly important for maintaining heart health. Common sources of d'acides gras include fatty fish, nuts, seeds, and vegetable oils. Incorporating these nutrient-rich foods into your diet can help support overall health and well-being.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
