So, what is fish glycerides?
Fish glycerides are a type of lipid derived from fish oil that are often used as an emulsifier in food production. They are composed of glycerol and fatty acids, and are commonly added to processed foods to help stabilize and blend ingredients. Fish glycerides are known for their ability to enhance the texture and mouthfeel of products, and are often used in the production of baked goods, dairy products, and salad dressings. In addition to their culinary applications, fish glycerides are also used in the pharmaceutical industry as a carrier for medication.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
