So, what is linseeds?
Linseeds, also known as flaxseeds, are small, shiny, and flat seeds that come from the flax plant. They have a nutty flavor and are commonly used in baking or as a topping for yogurt or oatmeal. Linseeds are high in fiber, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids, making them a popular ingredient for those seeking a healthy diet. They also contain lignans, a type of plant compound with antioxidant properties that may reduce the risk of cancer and improve heart health. Linseeds can be consumed whole or ground, and should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge to maintain their freshness.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
