So, what is pimientos verdes?
Pimientos verdes, also known as green peppers or capsicum, are a popular ingredient in Mediterranean and Latin American cuisines. These mild-tasting peppers have a bright green color and a crunchy texture that adds a refreshing contrast to many dishes. Pimientos verdes can be used in a variety of ways, from roasted and stuffed with cheese or meat to sliced and sautéed with onions and garlic for a flavorful vegetable side dish. They are also a great source of vitamins A and C, making them a nutritious addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
