So, what is pineapple fibres?
Pineapple fibres are extracted from the leaves of the pineapple plant, known as the "pina" in Spanish. These fibres have a tough texture and are often used in textile production to create durable and breathable fabrics. Pineapple fibres are also being explored as a sustainable alternative to leather, as they can be turned into a leather-like material through a process that uses enzymes instead of toxic chemicals. Additionally, pineapple fibres are high in dietary fiber and can be added to various food products to boost their nutritional value.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
