So, what is protéines laitières?
Protéines laitières refer to proteins derived from milk, which are commonly used as an ingredient in various food products. These proteins are rich in amino acids and have a high biological value, meaning they are easily absorbed by the body. They are often added to sports nutrition products and functional foods due to their ability to aid in muscle recovery and growth. In addition to their nutritional benefits, protéines laitières also enhance texture, flavor, and mouthfeel in processed foods such as protein bars, beverages, and baked goods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
