So, what is sepias?
Sepias, also known as cuttlefish, are marine animals that belong to the same family as squids and octopuses. They have a soft, elongated body with eight arms and two tentacles for catching prey. Sepias are widely used in cooking due to their firm texture, sweet flavor, and versatility in different dishes. The ink sacs of sepia are also prized for their unique coloring properties, often used to add a distinct flavor and color to pastas and risottos. Sepias contain high amounts of protein, vitamins, and minerals, making them a healthy choice for seafood lovers.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
