So, what is spiramycins?

Spiramycins are a type of macrolide antibiotic commonly used in veterinary medicine to treat infections in animals. Derived from Streptomyces ambofaciens, spiramycins work by inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria, making them an effective treatment for a variety of bacterial infections. In humans, spiramycins have been used to treat some sexually transmitted infections and respiratory tract infections. Although generally safe, spiramycins may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and allergic reactions. As with all antibiotics, it is important to use spiramycins only as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
