So, what is acétate de zinc?
Acétate de zinc, or zinc acetate, is a white crystalline powder that is commonly used as a food ingredient and dietary supplement. It is a source of zinc, an essential mineral that plays a critical role in many bodily functions, including immune system function, wound healing, and DNA synthesis. Zinc acetate is often added to foods such as cereals and dairy products to increase their zinc content. It is also used as a natural preservative in some food products. Zinc acetate has a slightly sweet taste and is generally considered safe for consumption in moderate amounts.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
