So, what is acide' lactique?
Acide lactique, also known as lactic acid, is a natural organic acid that is found in many dairy products such as yogurt, cheese, and sour cream. It is also produced by the human body during exercise. This colorless liquid has a slightly sour taste and is commonly used as a food additive to enhance flavor, adjust acidity, and as a preservative. Acide lactique has antimicrobial properties that inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, making it a popular ingredient in food preservation. It is also used in the production of biodegradable plastics, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
