So, what is acido citricó?
Acido citrico, also known as citric acid, is a natural substance found in citrus fruits like lemons and limes. It has a tart and acidic taste, making it a popular ingredient in many food and beverage products, including soft drinks, candies, and baked goods. As an additive, acido citrico can enhance the flavor of foods and act as a preservative due to its antimicrobial properties. It can also be used to balance pH levels and prevent discoloration in processed fruits and vegetables. Additionally, acido citrico has many non-food applications, such as in cleaning products and cosmetics.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
