So, what is ácido fosforico?
Ácido fosfórico, also known as phosphoric acid, is a colorless and odorless liquid that is commonly used in the food industry as an additive. It is a strong acid with a pH of around 2.5, and is often used as a preservative, pH adjuster, and flavor enhancer in beverages such as cola and other carbonated drinks. Despite its acidic nature, it is generally recognized as safe by regulatory agencies when used in appropriate amounts. However, excessive intake can lead to adverse effects such as tooth erosion and bone demineralization.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
