So, what is animal?
Animal products are food ingredients derived from animals, including meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy. These ingredients are a rich source of protein, essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that are vital to human health. Animal products can be prepared in various ways, from grilling and roasting to baking and frying, and can be incorporated into many dishes, from stews and soups to salads and sandwiches. While animal products are a staple of many diets, there are also many vegetarian and vegan alternatives available that can provide similar nutritional benefits.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
