So, what is apfelfaser?
Apfelfaser is a unique food ingredient made from the dietary fibers of apples. These fibers are extracted from the apple pulp and skin and then processed to create a fine, light-colored powder that is rich in soluble and insoluble fibers. Apfelfaser is a natural and gluten-free ingredient that can be used to boost the fiber content in a wide range of food products, such as baked goods, cereal bars, and snacks. It has a neutral flavor and can help improve the texture and moisture retention of the final product. Additionally, apfelfaser is a sustainable ingredient as it is produced from apple byproducts that would otherwise be wasted.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
