So, what is azucar morena?
Azucar morena, also known as brown sugar, is a natural sweetener made by mixing granulated white sugar with molasses. It has a moist and grainy texture with a caramel-like flavor and a warm, rich aroma. Brown sugar is commonly used in baking, marinades, and glazes, and it pairs well with cinnamon, ginger, and other warm spices. It also has a slightly higher moisture content than white sugar, which can add extra moisture and richness to baked goods. Additionally, brown sugar contains small amounts of minerals such as calcium, potassium, and iron, which provide some nutritional value.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
