So, what is baies de?
"Baies de" is a French term that translates to "berries of," referring to a diverse range of small, round fruits with seeds encased in fleshy pulp. These little powerhouses of flavor and nutrition are a staple ingredient in many cuisines, including French, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern. From tart and tangy cranberries to sweet and juicy blueberries, baies de add a burst of color and taste to salads, baked goods, and jams. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, baies de are a healthy and delicious addition to any diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
