So, what is brocade?
Brocade is not a food ingredient but rather a type of decorative fabric with a rich history. The term "brocade" refers to a class of luxurious fabrics that are characterized by their raised patterns and metallic threads. These fabrics are traditionally woven on a special loom using silk, cotton, or other fibers, and they are often embellished with gold or silver threads for a shimmering effect. Brocade fabrics can come in a variety of colors and designs, from simple floral patterns to intricate motifs inspired by ancient cultures. While not edible, brocade fabrics are often used to add a touch of elegance and sophistication to dining table settings, particularly during special occasions and festive events.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
