So, what is cabernet-franc?

Cabernet Franc is a red wine grape variety that is primarily grown in the Bordeaux region of France, although it is also cultivated in other parts of the world, including the United States, Canada, and South America. It is often used in blends with other grape varieties, such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, but it is also capable of producing high-quality single-varietal wines. Cabernet Franc wines are typically medium-bodied with flavors of raspberry, blackcurrant, and herbs, and they often have a slightly spicy finish. The grape is known for its ability to express the terroir of the vineyard where it is grown, making each Cabernet Franc wine unique.
