So, what is huile colzas?
Huile colza, or canola oil, is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of the rapeseed plant. It is known for its neutral taste and high smoke point, making it a popular choice for cooking and frying. Huile colza is also rich in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are beneficial for heart health. It contains a low amount of saturated fat and is cholesterol-free, making it a healthier option compared to other oils. In addition to cooking, huile colza is also used in salad dressings, marinades, and baked goods.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
